Overview
Masar Agent is an Arabic-first agentic AI layer built for ERPNext and the Frappe Framework. It enables employees and managers to interact with business data through natural conversations, either by text or real-time voice, without navigating complex screens, forms, and reports. The platform includes specialized agents for human resources, sales, purchasing, inventory, and accounting. A centralized routing system preserves conversation context, handles cross-domain requests, and understands Arabic expressions, spelling variations, and mixed Arabic-English business terminology. Beyond answering questions, Masar can analyze uploaded files and internal documents using RAG and OCR, prepare ERP transactions, present a structured preview, request user approval, and execute authorized actions. Its safety architecture includes permission enforcement, risk-based confirmation, idempotency protection, audit logging, and post-execution database verification. Masar was designed as a modular, provider-flexible product layer that can be adapted to different ERPNext deployments and extended to other business platforms.
About the Project
An Arabic-first AI agent for ERPNext that transforms business questions into reliable insights and approved actions across HR, sales, purchasing, inventory, and accounting.
Results & Impact
Masar provides a unified conversational workspace for five core business domains: human resources, sales, purchasing, inventory, and accounting. It supports nine controlled ERP workflows, including Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Purchase Invoices, Material Requests, Leave Applications, Stock Entries, Payment Entries, Quotations, and Journal Entries. The platform shortens the path from a business question to an actionable result by combining ERP data retrieval, document intelligence, live voice interaction, reminders, and guided transaction execution in one interface. Its human-in-the-loop Action Gateway ensures that important operations are previewed, confirmed, validated, executed, and verified before being reported as successful. The resulting architecture is secure, auditable, reusable, and suitable for deployment across different organizations and future business products.
